The Track Rock site (9UN3) is located in Union County, Georgia and is one of the best known rock art sites in the state. This site is located on National Forest land on the Blue Ridge Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests.

9Pm260 is located on a high ridge on the western side of the Oconee River 2.2km upstream from the dam. The site consists of a small rockshelter with two open ends formed from large boulders apparently exposed by severe erosion of the ridge (Figure 1).

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the area of a Habersham County commercial development proposed by Hayes Chevrolet. The development would necessitate improvements to a sewer system and addition of a deceleration lane.
