TRC Garrow Associates, Inc. (TRC), conducted a series of cultural resource studies of a 22-acre tract slated for impact by the expansion of the R. L. Sutton Water Treatment Plant, located in Cobb County, Georgia.

In December 2008, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an archeological survey ofproposed widening along a 5.63 km (3.5 mi) section of Barrett Parkway.

During May 2007, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed location for the Walkers Church Substation.

New South Associates completed the archaeological survey portion of the Cultural Resource Survey for the bridge replacement on SR 64 over 17-Mile River in response to request by CDM Smith.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed intersection improvements at State Route 16 at Poplar Road and Orr Road in Coweta County, Georgia. Archaeological field investigations took place on March 28, 2002.

Several pieces of legislation including the Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Executive Order 11593, 1974 Amendments to the Reservoir Salvage Act and 1980 Amendments to the NEPA protect historic, architectural, archaeological and cultural resources.

The Early County Development Authority proposes improvements to a 7. 7 -hectare (19-acre) lot, as part of a Blakely-Early County Industrial Park planned for the area immediately northeast of Blakely, Georgia.

On June 3rd and 4t 2003, an intensive cultural resource assessment survey was conducted by Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) of Jacksonville, Florida, of a 13-acre parcel in Effingham County, .GA. The tract is the location for a proposed Wastewater Treatment Facility.
