In 2002, SITE, Inc. conducted background research to determine the locations of known archaeological sites within 1.2 km (1.0 mi) of the proposed location of a general aviation airport in Clay County, Georgia (Figure 1 ).

The proposed project involves improvements to the intersection of SR 16 and CR 35/Vaughn Rd. and CR 507 /Rover-Zetella Rd. The project would widen SR 16 symmetrically to provide for 12' left and right turn lanes in each direction.

The proposed project consists of the relocation of SR 79 along CR 278/Old Petersburg Road beginning at SR 43 and ending at the point where CR 278 joins the current alignment of SR 79.

The proposed project involves construction of a two-lane facility on new location north of Leesburg between US-19/SR-3 in the west and SR-195 in the east. The new facility would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes and 4-foot paved shoulders with turn lanes at intersections.

During July, September, and October 2011, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted an archaeological survey for the proposed signal upgrades to 20 intersections in Lumpkin, Towns, Union, and White counties, Georgia (Georgia Department of Transportation [GDOT] Project No.

Apalachee Research conducted this investigation at the request of a private sector client to document known Civil War earthworks in a Cobb County tract slated for commercial development in November 2012.

Management Plan: Site 9UN367 is a prehistoric ceremonial stone landscape that is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Because of its significance the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests are designating this site a Priority Heritage Asset.

The project proposes to widen SR 16 from MP 8.3 to MP 9.17, Spring Street, at the western city limits of Monticello. The existing two-lane facility would be widened to three lanes to provide a two way left turn lane.

This project consists of the reconstruction of the 1-75 at SR 3/US 41/US 76 (Rocky Face) interchange located in Whitfield County. The interchange configuration will remain as a diamond interchange with an additional ramp in the northwest quadrant.
