New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey for the Galilee Church Road improvements in Jackson County, Georgia, under subcontract to Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc.

GDOT project STP-HPP-178-1(34) in Polk County would consist of the widening and reconstruction of US 278 from an existing two lane road into a four lane road from Old Cedartown Road east to tie in to the Nathan Dean Bypass at Rockmart. The project was originally surveyed in 1991 and 1996.

This document has been prepared for use in completion of applicable Section 106 procedures in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966 and subsequent amendments.

An investigation of approximately 80 linear miles of the Chatuge Reservoir was conducted for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TV A) by New South Associates, Inc. between November 1996 and January 1997, and in September 1998.

TRC conducted a cultural resource survey for the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) proposed Mt. Vernon Road transmission line (TL) project in Catoosa County, Georgia, and Hamilton County Tennessee. The project will install a tap point and switches in the Bradley-Concord No.

During August and September 2009, Edwards-Pitman Environmental Inc. (EPEI) conducted Phase II archaeological testing at 9SP161, for the proposed State Route (SR) 92 Bridge Replacement over the Flint River in Spalding County, Georgia.

The proposed project would replace the existing bridge over Sapp Creek on SR 112 in Grady County with a concrete bridge culvert. The proposed bridge culvert will be used as the detour on the west side of SR 112 to maintain traffic flow during construction. The existing right-of-way is 100 feet.

An archaeological research project was conducted in July of 1999 at four different locations within the Scull Shoals Historic Mill Complex in Greene County, GA. The project was administered by the United States Forest Service through their "Passport In Time" volunteer service program.

The proposed project would construct a 48.8 m x 11.6 m (160 ft x 38 ft) concrete bridge structure on existing alignment on SR 188 at West Branch Barnett's Creek approximately 8 km (4.9 mi) northwest of Cairo, Georgia in Grady County.
