Report Abstracts

This addendum report presents the results of additional Phase I cultural resources investigations completed as part of the proposed Elba Express Company, L.L.C. 's 1 (EEC) Modification Project (formerly known as Elba Coldwater Compressor Station).

Two potentially eligible sites, 9Bn33 and 9Bn36, were tested by the Southeast Archeological Center in the Spring of 2000 for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility.

The proposed project consists of left and right shoulder pavement of S.R. 124 in Jackson County from approximately 143 m (470 ft) north of S.R. 53 to S.R. 11 for a distance of 15.8 km (9.8 mi). The proposed shoulder pavement varies from 0.6 m (2 ft) to 1. 2 m (4 ft).

From June 15-17, 2009, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation (Goon conducted remote sensing investigations at archaeological site 9CH1205 in Chatham County, Georgia. These investigations included survey with ground penetrating radar (GPR) and magnetic gradiometer.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed Section 106 Review Documentation, FCC Form 620, for our client, Georgia Power Company, concerning a proposed communications structure located off of Valley Hill Road, near Stockbridge, Henry County, Georgia.

                The Georgia Department of Transportation proposes to improve the intersection of La Vista and Oak Grove roads, approximately 5.6 km (3.5 miles) north of Decatur, Georgia.

The proposed project consists of the leveling and resurfacing of SR 212 in Jasper and Putnam Counties. Also included in the proposed project would be the addition of 0.91 m (3 ft) paved shoulders.
