Report Abstracts

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project IM·NH-75·1(192), Bibb County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for Inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places {NRHP

Project STP-8013 (1.1) would widen SR 22 Spur/Macon Road in Muscogee County. Also, the proposed project would include improvements to the Boxwood Boulevard/Auburn Avenue/Macon Road intersections.

During May and June 2008, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed location for the State Route (SR) 204/ Abercom Extension Improvements project corridor.

During February 2008 and February 2009, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed location for a spoil area and an access road at the Fulton County Airport-Brown Field in Fulton County, Georgia.

The proposed project would consist of replacing the Little Creek and Little Creek Overflow bridges along CR 4/Wilbur Murphy Road.

New South Associates, Inc. conducted a Phase I Cultural Resource Survey of the Gateway Tract in Columbia County, Georgia.

Southern Research, Historic Preservations Consultants, Inc. conducted a phase one cultural resource survey of a portion of a 2.13 acre lot with a standing structure on it in downtown Talbotton, Georgia.

The proposed project consists of the realignment of SR 212 to intersect SR 16 approximately 0.80 km (0.5 mi) east of its present location. An eastbound right turn deceleration lane will be added on SR 16 to SR 212 southbound, and a northbound left turn lane will be constructed on SR 212.

The project proposes to improve the intersections of SR 156 with SR 136 Connector and SR 156 with CR 492 on existing location. The existing right-of-way is 80 feet; a maximum of 70 feet of additional right-of-way would be required.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of Segments 1, 3, and 5 for the proposed Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) East Beltline Project. The investigation was undertaken on behalf of Jacobs Engineering for AGL prior to the proposed pipeline improvements.
