Project STP-048-1 (33) would widen and reconstruct SR 28 in Columbia and Richmond Counties. The proposed project on SR 28 would begin at Riverwatch Parkway then continue northwesterly to an end point just north of Evans to Lock Road.

The proposed project would consist of the removal and replacement of the existing b ridge over Cedar Creek on SR 1/US 27 south of Cedartown. The existing right-of-way is approximately 30.5 m (100 ft) .

On 18 March 1983, I traveled to Clinton, Georgia for the purpose of examining archaeologically the property donated by the Georgia Department of Transportation to the Old Clinton Historical Society. The donation is to be developed as a park.

As a part of the A-95 review process, an archaeological assessment of these two projects was made. 76-10-13-17 involves the construction of a district office in DeKalb County.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project MR-8046(2), Muscogee County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological' resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP

On November 2, 2000, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted an archaeological survey of CR 98/Griffin Road in Long County, Georgia. CR 98/Griffin Road is currently an unimproved dirt road, scheduled for grading, base, drainage and paving.

During the month of September 2002, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed 210 acre Temco Tract in northeast Paulding County, Georgia. Two archaeological sites (9Pa159 and 9Pa160) were located during this investigation.

During the period of June 9-17, 2011, R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a Phase I archeological resources survey of the Oothkalooga Creek Trail for the City of Adairsville, in Bartow County, Georgia.

During April, May, and December 1997, New South Associates, Inc., conducted an archaeological and architectural survey of the proposed Rockdale County Bike Trail.

R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA), a professional cultural resources management firm, conducted an archeological and historic structures survey of the above-referenced telecommunications tower project area.
