A cultural resources survey was conducted on a 141 ha (340 ac) tract of land that is to be used as a spray irrigation wastewater treatment site for the City of Winder, Georgia. Eighteen sites and four isolated artifact occurrences were discovered.

On May 18, 1988 an intensive archaeological survey was conducted along U.S. Forest Service Tracts R-165a and R-216 within the Chattahoochee National Forest, Habersham County, Georgia, in compliance with a United States Forest Service special use permit. Tract R-165a is located along U.S.

The survey area of the proposed Monk Rd.-Walkerville transmission line and substation site, Tift County, Georgia was surveyed for the purpose of identifying and assessing any prehistoric or which might be of Historic Places. No such sites were project survey area.

Due to obsolescence and deterioration, the water and sewerage systems serving Ocmulgee National Monument were performing unsatisfactorily and were health hazards by the early 1980s (Lanier 1982).

A cultural resources survey prior to a proposed land exchange near the Dial community in Fannin County produced one small lithic scatter on a knoll top above the Toccoa River and a small portion of a larger known site which was mostly on adjacent private property.

The cultural resources survey of the City of Nashville's proposed spray irrigation wastewater treatment facility discovered three archeological sites and two artifact occurrences. We recommend all three sites as ineligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

During November 1988 and January 1989, Robert S. Webb and Keith McRae conducted an intensive coverage cultural resource survey of approximately 89 hectares (220 acres) in Upson County, Georgia for Mayes, Sudderth & Etheredge, Inc.

Archaeological survey and testing of the 22.6 mile long (90 meters wide) proposed Wansley-Yates Railroad corridor, in Carroll and Coweta counties, Georgia, was conducted for Georgia Power Company.

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of the proposed Dudley 46/25 kV Substation, Laurens County, Georgia, for Oglethorpe Power Corporation. No cultural resources were encountered within the project area.
