On June 26, 1989, Robert S. Webb conducted an intensive coverage cultural resources survey of approximately 1.6 kilometers (1.0 miles) of a proposed transmission line corridor (Abbe 115 kV line) in Ben Hill and Irwin Counties, Georgia.

On June 26, 1989, Robert S. Webb conducted an intensive coverage cultural resources survey of approximately 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles) of a proposed transmission line corridor "Fitzgerald to Swakers 115 kV line) in Ben Hill County, Georgia.

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of the proposed Cairo Chip Mill Substation and 115 kV Transmission Line, Grady County, Georgia, for Oglethorpe Power Corporation. Three historic sites and one isolated find were discovered.

On May 16, 1990, John Doolin and Brian Gumbert conducted an intensive coverage cultural resources survey of approximately 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles) of a proposed transmission line corridor (Peavey 46 kV line) and a 3.0 hectare (7.5 acres) substation site in Houston and Dooly Counties, Georgia.

A cultural resource survey of a 10 acre proposed marina site on the west side of Jekyll Island, Georgia, was undertaken on July 23 and 24,1990 by New South Associates.

This Management Summary Report is presented as an interim document of the Augusta Riverfront Archeological Data Recovery project, and is intended to address the preliminary findings of the field investigation.

A cultural resources survey was conducted on March 29 and April 13, 1989, in preparation for the construction of a duck pond water control structure near Dyar Pasture in northwestern Greene County, Georgia (Figure 1).

A cultural resources survey of proposed relocation route of Tallulah River Road (F.R. 70) was conducted in northwest Rabun County in September and October, 1988. The road change was designed to bypass the USFS Tallulah River Recreation Area campground.

This Management Summary addresses the results of an archeological survey conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. for the City of Augusta's Economic Development Office on the Riverfront Augusta property in downtown Augusta (Figure 1).

Archeological testing was conducted on properties destined to be impacted by MARTA's Proctor Creek rail line construction. The program confirmed that portions of the Atlanta municipal dump (1884-1910) fall within the impact zone.
