An intensive survey of 1.6 km of re-routed transmission line was performed by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. Except for the rockpile, believed to date to the historic period, no sites were discovered.

In July and August 1989, cultural resource surveys were undertaken in the Oconee National Forest to protect and preserve such resources. Parts of six forest compartments were surveyed covering 2,370 acres. A total of 25 sites and 28 isolated finds were located.

This report documents the result of a cultural resource survey of the proposed Russell Parkway 115 kV Transmission Line corridor, Houston County, Georgia. The study corridor consisted a 625 foot long by 75 foot wide segment that crossed Bay Gall Creek on the southern fringes of Warner Robins.
