The cultural resource survey was conducted along a proposed extension of Long Creek Road (FS251), near Hickory Flats Cemetery, in Eastern Fannin County, Georgia. This road is in Compartment 656 of the Toccoa Ranger District, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests.

A cultural resources survey was conducted on two parcels of land (Figure 1) in the Oconee National Forest in preparation for a land exchange with the Greensboro Lumber Company, Greensboro, Georgia. The parcels in question are located as follows.
