A cultural resources survey prior to a proposed land exchange near the Dial community in Fannin County produced one small lithic scatter on a knoll top above the Toccoa River and a small portion of a larger known site which was mostly on adjacent private property.

A cultural resources survey was conducted on three land lots of National Forest land in Walker County, Georgia, prior to a proposed Forest Service land exchange. The exchange is located in southeastern Walker county, near the Villanow community and contains approximately 480 acres.

Cultural Resources Surveys were conducted in March and August, 1988, on two parcels of National Forest land in the Brasstown Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest, Union County, Georgia. These parcels were proposed for land exchange with private land owners.

On September 4 and 5, 1990, a Phase II testing project was undertaken on the Crump Site (GA04-53/9Un54) prior to county road widening construction.

Cultural resources surveys were undertaken on National Forest land in Towns and Union Counties, Georgia, prior to timber sales, road construction, and wildlife openings.

This report is a compilation of various cultural resources surveys and sites that have been recorded since 1983. These surveys have been conducted for timber sales, roads, and wildlife openings on the Chattooga Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest.

Cultural resources surveys have been completed for portions of Compartments 19, 26, 41, 56, 59, 71, 79, and 89 on the Tallulah Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest.

Cultural resources surveys have been conducted on the Tallulah Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest prior to Forest Service activities. These surveys were located in portions of compartments 32, 37, 38, 43, 44, 48, 50, 51, 57, 62, 63, 64, 65, and 106 in Rabun County, Georgia.

A cultural resources survey was conducted at Duke's Creek Recreation Area on Georgia Highway 348, White County, GA, in locations planned for development.

A cultural resource survey has been completed for the Upper Chattahoochee Recreation Area, on the Chattooga Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest. This survey was undertaken prior to development and improvements to this area.
