A cultural resource survey has been completed on five parcels of National Forest land in a proposed land exchange in Habersham and Stephens Counties, Georgia.

From March through April 1999, R.S. Webb and Associates conducted a cultural resource survey on the Oconee National Forest in Jasper County, Georgia. Approximately 1068 acres were surveyed prior to the West 11 timber sale activities.

This report covers a cultural resources survey conducted by the author on 125 acres of the Tallulah Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest, in Rabun County, Georgia. The location is atop a westerly ridge of Tiger Mountain, and east of Davis Gap, just west of the community of Tiger, GA.

This is a cultural resources survey of 201.84 acres of land in four parcels or tracts of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Lumpkin County Georgia, prior to a proposed land exchange between the Forest Service and Mr. Lowell Dunn.

On March 13, 2002 five intersections in Tifton, Georgia were archeologically surveyed by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS).

On March 28, 2002 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS), conducted an archeological survey of a highway intersection in Columbia County, Georgia.

Between April 16 and April 23, 2002, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) surveyed 28 intersections along US Highway 411State Route 7 in Spalding and Henry Counties, between Griffin and Lovejoy, Georgia (Figure 1).

Between April 15 and April 23, 2002 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) surveyed 39 intersections along VS Highway 411State Route 7 in Lamar, Pike and Spalding Counties, between Barnesville and Griffin, Georgia (Figure 1).

A cultural resources survey was conducted by the author in August, 2003, of a series of eight proposed monitoring well sites and some 1,600 feet of access trails on National Forest lands near the County Landfill, Rabun County, Georgia.

A cultural resources survey was conducted by the author of approximately 96 acres on the southern end of the Currahee Club in eastern Stephens County, Georgia in April, 2005. The survey was done under contract with Hayes, James, and Associates, Inc., of Norcross.
