The existing structure is 26 feet long and 13. 5 feet wide consisting of steel piles, steel beams, and a concrete deck. The required structure will consist of approximately 50 LF and double 8 x 8 culvert.

Existing structure is 25 feet wide and 40 feet long consisting of steel piles, steel beams, and a concrete deck. The required structure will consist of approximately 50 LF of triple 10 x 10 culvert.

Existing structure is 15.4’ x 39’ concrete and timber bridge with timber deck. Existing right of way 60.’ Begins at intersection with SR 100 and ends 500’ west of existing bridge. New structure approximately 56’ double 10’ x 7’ concrete bridge culvert.

140’ x 32’ bridge; some wetland involvement, not potentially significant archaeological resources.

In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, CSSTP-M003-00(797), Hart County, has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The intersection improvement projects are widely distributed and the nature of the existing intersections vary considerably. Intersection 1 is a rural crossroads of two laned highways in the eastern portion of Cherokee County (Figure 2).
