Bridge on SR 38/US 82 over Sixty Foot Creek. Possible wetland involvement, no historic material involvement, no displacements, no potentially significant archaeological resources.

420’ x 44’ bridge; Required right of way to 100’ total plus temporary easement for detour. No potentially significant archaeological material.

In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, CSSTP-M003-00(797), Hart County, has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The intersection improvement projects are widely distributed and the nature of the existing intersections vary considerably. Intersection 1 is a rural crossroads of two laned highways in the eastern portion of Cherokee County (Figure 2).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project STP-IM-M000-00(47), Bartow, Catoosa, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, and Haralson Counties, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusi

135’ x 38’ concrete bridge constructed on existing alignment. No additional right of way will be needed. The road will be closed and traffic will be detoured onto SR 62, SR 55 and SR 234.

310’ x 38’ bridge at Pachitla Creek, 180’ x 38’ bridge at Pachitla Creek Tributary and 75’ x 38’ at Pachitla Creek overflow. These bridge will be constructed on existing alignment. Traffic will be detoured over local roads, CR 153 and SR 62. No additional right of way will be needed.

Project begins 500 ft. west of stream. New structure will be a triple 9' x8' concrete bridge culvert. A temporary detour easement will be required. (see attachment) Detour will be constructed on downstream side (see attachment). 23.7 ft. x 80ft. timber, steel and concrete bridge.

The proposed project has been surveyed for historic resources in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto.
