The following bridge replacement projects in District VI will be constructed or widened along the existing alignment:

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRF-036-1(8), Coffee County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)

The subject project consists of the widening and reconstruction of U.S. 17 from north of State Route 204 / Abercorn Street Extension to south of Dean Forest Road, a distance of 3.4 miles. The existing road has a rural section with 24' of pavement and variable width shoulders.

The proposed project consists of replacement of the existing SR 37 bridge over Ochlockonee Creek (Structure ID 071-0018-0). The new bridge will include two 12-foot lanes and sidewalks for pedestrians.

Georgia DOT Project # MLP-73(27) is an in place bridge replacement project at Lotts Creek and SR 73 near Statesboro in Bulloch County, District 5. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.

Project STP-030-3(25), Telfair County: Proposed Paving of Shoulders Along SR 30 from the Dodge County Line to SR 27; The proposed project consists of the paving of shoulders along SR 30 from the Dodge County Line to SR 27 in McRae (see attached map).
