Georgia DOT Project # BHF-055-2(12) is an in-place bridge replacement project at Betty’s Creek and The Little Tenn. River on US 441 in Rabun County, District 1. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.

New right of way is required but was not staked at the time of field review. A general reconnaissance of the surrounding area did not locate any sites or artifacts. Sub-surface testing likewise provided no information project is judged to be clear of archaeological potential.

Georgia DOT Project # BRSLB-0668(2) is an in-place bridge replacement project at Bay Gall Creek and Co. Rd. 535 in Houston County, District 3. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.

TerraXplorations, Inc. (TerraX) of Mobile, Alabama was contracted by Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) of Maitland, Florida, to conduct a Phase I archaeological direct effects and visual effects survey for the proposed Funston cellular tower in Colquitt County, Georgia.

Georgia DOT Project # F-031-1(7) is an in place bridge replacement project at US 82 at Little Ichowaynochway Creek in Randolph County, District 4. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.

Replacement of the County Road 68 bridge over Cemochechobee Creek south of Coleman. A nonmajor action was approved on August 8, 1978, for a project having a length of 0.02 mile, but the current Construction Authorization requests is for a project length of 0.492 mile.
