Report Abstracts

The proposed is an emergency slope repair and work will take place along a 150- foot linear section of State Route (SR) 60 in Lumpkin County, Georgia near Dockery Gap Road (MP 19)(Figure 1). The project is located within the Chattahoochee National Forest.

The proposed project would construct a new railroad siding on the Heart of Georgia Railroad in Emanuel County, Georgia approximately 6.5 km (4 miles) southwest of Swainsboro.

The proposed project is located within the Prater Island Wetland Mitigation Bank in Whitfield county, Georgia (Figure 1). The project consists of maintenance and improvements along approximately 1,020 ft (311 m) of the access road entering the tract from State Route (SR) 286.

The proposed project would construct a new rail spur and associated rail yard along a spur line of the Georgia Southwestern Railroad (Figure 1).

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site.

Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey for the widening of State Route (SR) 9 from Windward Parkway to SR 20 in Fulton and Forsyth counties, Georgia (Georgia Department of Transportation [GDOT] P.I. Nos.

From July 28 to July 30, 2008, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the approximately 65-acre (26.3-hectare) Gum Log Wetland Mitigation Bank in Jackson County, Georgia.
