In December 1992 an intensive archaeological survey was conducted of a 20.1-acre tract located one-half mile east of Fort Frederica on St. Simons Island, Georgia.

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District has proposed dosing New Cut between Back and Middle Rivers and locking open the tide gate at Hutchinson Island on the Back River in Savannah Harbor.

An archaeological assessment survey was conducted by Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) of a segment of U.S. 27 through Troup, Heard, and Carroll Counties, Georgia, between December 1993 and February 1994.

The Rocky Mountain Project is located in Floyd County, Georgia, 12.5 kilometers northwest of the City of Rome (Figure 1.0). The project area is in a valley bounded by Simms Mountain on the north and Lavender Mountain on the south.

During the months of May and July, 1994, New South Associates, Inc. conducted a 20.6 mile survey of SR 21 in Effingham and Screven Counties. Survey also included an additional area along the periphery of a Carolina Bay in Screven County.
