Site 9R084 is a large, deeply buried prehistoric archaeological site that also contains a minor historic component. This site was one of 14 archaeological sites identified during the Phase I investigation, and the only substantive site that was identified within the Yellow River floodplain.

Project STP-001-6(26) proposes to widen US 41/SR 3 from Line Street to just south of SR 156 and multilane US 41/SR 3 from south of SR 156 to Mauldin Road (north end)/Defoor Loop.

Mr. Toye Hill, owner and proprietor of the Soap Creek Marina on Thurmond Lake, Lincoln County, Georgia has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District to construct an unpaved road and several cabins at the marina, on land leased from the U.S.

This project consists of the very minor addition of new right-of-way to an intersection improvement project archeologically surveyed in June of 2006. The revised plans call for an additional small area of right-of-way in one quadrant of an intersection in the town of Moultrie.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the existing bridge on Sea Island Road/CR 583 over Dunbar Creek in Glynn County, Georgia including minor roadway approach work for a total project length of approximately 0.4 mile.

In January, 1995, Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted archaeological survey and evaluation of the proposed corridor required for the widening of State Route 20 between the North and South intersections of State Route 100 in Floyd County, Georgia.

This project consists of very minor additions of new right-of-way to an intersection improvement project archeologically surveyed in June of 2006. The revised plans call for additional small areas of right-of-way in three quadrants of three intersections in the town of Bainbridge.

The purpose of this addendum is to address extensions to the original project required as a result of design changes. Originally, a temporary detour bridge was to be erected adjacent to the existing bridge; however, it has since been determined that a temporary bridge is not feasible.

The proposed project would improve the intersection of Chapel Hill Road at Anneewakee Road/Dorsett Shoals Road in Douglas County.
