Project HPP-0005-00(428) proposes to improve the intersection of Old Alabama Connector and SR 961/ Old Alabama Road. The existing Old Alabama Road consists of two 12-foot lanes with one left turn lane, and a right turn lane onto Old Alabama Connector northbound.

1293 McIntosh, James M., Rogers, Ronnie H. Follow-up Heritage Resource Surveys in Tornado Damaged Areas of Jones and Putnam Counties, Georgia

During May and June 1993, cultural resource surveys were conducted in sections of Compartments 122, 135, 137; 142, 143 in Jasper and Putnam Counties on areas damaged by the November 1992 tornado on the Oconee National Forest.

A cultural resources survey of 366 ha (905 ac) on the Chattooga Ranger District of Chattahoochee National Forest was completed in September 1993. The survey was conducted prior to timber sales in portions of Compartments 202 and 205 in Stephens County, and 267 in White County.

The proposed projects would widen and reconstruct SR 72 from its intersection with US 17 in Elbert County, GA easterly to a point approximately 6300 feet across the state line in Abbeville County, SC. The project follows the existing SR 72 corridor, varying in width from 100 to 300 feet.

A reconnaissance level field survey was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Service, Inc. of Athens, Georgia, for the U.S. Forest Service in the Toccoa and Armuchee Ranger Districts of Chattahoochee National Forest.

The proposed project consists of easements associated with intersection improvements at SR 5/Church Street and Tower Road, from just west of Roselane Street to SR 5/Church Street. Additional lanes would be provided as needed on Tower Road and Church Street.

This project is one of several projects on SR 40 - Okefenokee Parkway between Folkston (Charlton County) and Kingsland (Camden County). This project begins at Mile Post 5.21 in Charlton County and extends to Mile Post 10.12 (CR 66) Colerain Road in Camden County.

The proposed project would construct an approximately 1.4-mile multi-use trail on the west side of Atlanta Road from Ridge Road to Spring Road/Concord Road in the City of Smyrna, Cobb County. The proposed project would construct an 8 to 10 feet (ft) wide multi-use path.
