An intensive archaeological resources survey was carried out for the proposed Lavender Road Substation in Clarke County, Georgia. The project was carried out in compliance with Section 106 of.the National Historic Preservation Act by personnel qualified under 36 CFR Part 61.

Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is designated to receive funding for two stormwater improvement projects, NO-13 (Boulevard) andBR-11 (Plaza/Cobb Street); as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

This letter our report of finding for an archaeological survey we conducted on an approximately 5.5-ac tract of land upon which Georgia Transmission Corporation wishes to construct the above-referenced substation.

Four locations near DNR headquarters at Long Tabby on Sapelo Island, McIntosh County, are being considered as alternate locations for construction of a below ground fuel storage facility. Each location is less than one acre in area.
