The survey of the Diamond Manufacturing Company's Hutchinson Island shoreline and dredging area was accomplished in May 1983. Investigations consisted of ground walkover, low water survey from the river and low water survey on land.

On November 13, 2002, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) archeologically surveyed three highway/street intersections in the town of Cairo in Grady County and three intersections in the town of Pelham in Mitchell County, Georgia (Figure 1).

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the area of potential effect for a Walton County bridge replacement project proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The survey reported here was designed to locate archeological sites in the areas of potential effect of two Randolph County bridge replacement projects proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation, State Route 50 over Pachitla Creek and State Route 216 over Carter Creek.

Under contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), URS Corporation was tasked to conduct a Phase I Archaeological Survey (Phase I) of a proposed bridge replacement along County Road (CR) 387 at Palmetto Creek in Harris County, Georgia.

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey on 8 October 2002 for the proposed Nails Creek Tributary Bridge Replacement (State Route [SR] 51 over Nails Creek) in Franklin County, Georgia, under contract with Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc.

This report describes archeological survey performed for two bridge replacement projects proposed by the GDOT.

A Phase I archaeological survey of the Sixes Road study corridor was conducted October 1, 2002. The right-of-way of the short corridor, only 0.32 miles in length, is to be widened from 60 to 100 feet.

Under contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), URS Corporation was tasked to conduct a Phase I Archaeological Survey (Phase I) of a proposed bridge replacement along Lower Blue Springs Road/County Road (CR) 393 at Barnes Creek in Hams County, Georgia.

On November 12, 2002, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) archeologically surveyed six highway/street intersections in the town of Fairburn in southern Fulton County, Georgia (Figure 1).
