The project would replace the aging SR 47 bridges over Headstall Creek south of Avondale, Georgia. The new bridge would be wider than the existing bridge, but would still consist of two lanes.

Construct a new bridge about 50 ft south of existing one, using existing bridge during construction. The project area was archaeologically surveyed in 2002 and a report was submitted to and approved by GDOT.

The project would replace the aging SR 22 bridges over the Ogeechee River south of Crawfordville, Georgia. The new bridges would be wider than the existing bridges, but would still consist of two lanes.

On September 25, 2004, staff from Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) revisited the location of a proposed bridge replacement project in Candler County, Georgia. The bridge is located on State Route 46 (SR 46) and crosses Fifteen mile Creek.

This is an addendum to the archaeological report dated March 18, 2002, which has already been reviewed by the GDOT and Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Historic Preservation Division.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of two tracts in Clayton County totaling approximately 12 acres. The tracts would be used in the construction of the Macon to Atlanta Corridor of the Rail Passenger Program.
