Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of SR 85 Alternate Bridge Replacement Over Pound Creek, Meriwether County, Georgia. Original Description: The proposed bridge would be constructed on existing alignment and be 120 ft. long and 44 ft. wide, to accommodate two 12 ft.

New South Associates conducted an archaeological survey of expanded area at the intersection of Cascade-Palmetto Highway (S.R. 154) and Wilkerson Mill Road (see attached figure) on February 8, 2002.

A cultural resources survey was conducted by the author of approximately 96 acres on the southern end of the Currahee Club in eastern Stephens County, Georgia in April, 2005. The survey was done under contract with Hayes, James, and Associates, Inc., of Norcross.

Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of SR 15 Over Dix Branch, Brantley County, Georgia. Original: The proposed project would replace the existing bridge over Dix Branch with a new bridge approximately 90-feet long by 44-feet wide on the existing alignment.

In September 1996, Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted archaeological investigations of an approximately nine acre tract on the eastside downtown Savannah riverfront area known as Wharf Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Lamar Ward.

In December of 2004, Southern Research conducted a cultural resources survey within an approximately 464 acre tract of land in Haralson County, Georgia (Figure 1).

Addendum: Archeological Survey of Three Proposed Bridge Replacements in Laurens County, Georgia. The project would replace an aging bridge over Big Flat Creek in southeastern Laurens County. The new bridge would be wider than the existing bridge, but would still consist of two lanes.

The survey reported here was designed to locate archeological sites in the expanded area of potential effect of a bridge replacement project in northeastern Laurens County, Georgia. The original survey (July 12, 2002) found no adverse effect to significant archeological resources.
