Intensive archaeological survey was conducted by Southern Research in 1999 for the proposed Multipurpose Range Complex on the Fort Benning Military Reservation. The study area encompassed land management compartments D-01, D-02, D-03, and K-23, which are located in Chattahoochee County, Georgia.
