On June 13, 2005 the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey at the request of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Historic Preservation Division. Two GPR survey grids were placed on top of Mound A at Kolomoki State Park(Figure 1).
