Soapstone Ridge is a geological entity situated in southern DeKalb County, Georgia. Numerous Archaic steatite quarry and workshop sites have been located on the Ridge. Interstate 675 is being proposed to follow an existing developed transportation corridor north-south across the Ridge.

RSO-0944(6) is the proposed 35.0 mile improvement and relocation of State Route 257 from Cordele to Albany, Georgia. The project has three sections: (1) widening of the existing two-lane facility to four lanes from north of Albany to south of Cordele - 24.45 miles;

A cultural resource survey was conducted in February 1983, of the 160-acre Land Lot 311 in southeastern Gilmer County for a proposed land exchange, in the Toccoa Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest.

In October 1988, Robert S. Webb (principal investigator) and Keith McRae (technician) conducted an intensive coverage cultural resource survey of approximately 1.85 hectares (4.59 acres) in Columbia County, Georgia for Oglethorpe Power Corporation.

The proposed project consists of the reconstruction of the existing interchange at 1-75 and State Route 37 in Adel. The proposed reconstruction would consist of the replacement of the existing bridge over 1-75 and improvements to the existing interchange ramps.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the existing guardrail and anchorage at selected sites along I-75/SR 401 in Cook, Tift, Crisp Counties. Also included in this project is the upgrading and repair of the existing guardrail at various locations.

Project NH-75-1(206) includes the widening and reconstruction of 1-75 from four lanes (two lanes in each direction) to six lanes (three lanes in each direction) from just north of CR 246/Kinard Bridge Road interchange in Cook County to the Cook/Tift County line, a total of 3.79 mile.

The proposed project consists of the replacement of the existing bridge over Giddens Mill Creek located on US 41/SR 7, in Adel, Georgia. The existing 72' x 24' concrete/steel bridge will be replaced with a 100' x 44' concrete bridge on existing alignment.

The proposed project would create a wetland mitigation site at No Man's Friend Pond located near Adel in Cook County. Various activities such as wetland restoration, wetland preservation and/or stream corridor restoration would be performed at this site.

The proposed project consists of redesigning Exit 37 of 1-75 on C.R. 216 (Old Quitman Road). Although the reworking of 1-75 is in the initial planning phases, a tract adjacent to the exit is being considered for advance acquisition.
