The United States Corps of Engineers Savannah District (USACE) contracted AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. (AMEC) to conduct a Phase I archaeological investigations of the Savannah River Re-Oxygenation Project in association with the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project.

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive architectural survey of the 33 facilities operated by the 81 st Regional Support Command, US Army Reserve, in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

During October and November 1999, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted historical research, archaeological reconnaissance, and limited surveys of shoreline areas in the Middle Chattahoochee Hydroelectric Project (PERC #2177).

An intensive archaeological resources survey was carried out for the proposed Mobley Bridge Substation in Troup County, Georgia. The project was carried out in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act by personnel qualified under 36 CFR Part 61.

Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted an intensive Phase I archaeological resources survey of the proposed Cumming-McGraw Ford 230 kV Transmission Line in September 2004 in Forsyth and Cherokee counties, Georgia.

In 2004, Brockington and Associates, Inc. (Brockington) was asked by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to carry out Phase II Testing for the Georgia Avenue Extension Project (GAEP) in North Augusta.

In September and October 1999, Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted archaeological survey and site testing at the Albany Nursery Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Dougherty County, Georgia.

Panamerican Consultants, Inc. (PCI) has performed a Phase I cultural resources survey for the United States Forest Service (USPS) for two timber sales within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. A total of 2,703 acres were surveyed.

This report presents the results of Phase III data recovery excavations at Site 9BK444 in Burke County, Georgia. This work was conducted for the Elba Express Company, LLC., a subsidiary of the El Paso Corporation, by R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., between June and July 2008.
