An intensive archaeological resources survey was carried out for the proposed Harp Road Substation and Access Road in Fayette County, Georgia. The project was carried out in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act by personnel qualified under 36 CFR Part 61.

The proposed project would construct four passing lanes on SR 36 in Talbot and Upson Counties. The four passing lane sites would be located between the town of Thomaston and the Talbot/Harris County line. Site #l is located between Mile Post (MP) 1.3 and MP 2.8 in Talbot County.

The proposed project would replace the existing bridge on State Route 36 over the Flint River, 9.6 miles east of Woodland, Georgia. The construction proposes to relocate State Route 36 east of its present location extending a total of 0.19 mile.

The proposed project would construct two passing lanes on new location along State Route 36 in Talbot and Upson Counties. Site #1 is a westbound passing lane that will begin at Mile Post (MP) 20.40 in Talbot County and extend to MP 22.79.

The proposed project would replace the structurally deficient bridge on CR 79 over Cedar Creek in Tattnall County. The proposed project would relocate CR 79 north of its present location extending a total of 0.45 mile. The proposed bridge would be relocated just north of the existing structure.
