Report Abstracts

In response to comments from the Historic Preservation Section, Georgia Department of Natural Resources (see Attachment A), the following information is submitted relative to (ASCC) 9-Ck-166, the only major site identified along the route of the proposed effluent sewer line.

The following report summarizes a cultural resource survey conducted by Ferguson within the corridor of U.S. Forest Service Road Number 1066-2.

Architectural and historical investigations of an iron furnace located on Shoal Creek in Cherokee County, Georgia, were conducted from December through February of 1986-1987.

R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a cultural resources survey of the 687-hectare (1,700 acres) Harbor View development site in Cherokee County, Georgia. The site is located northwest of Holly Springs along Allatoona Lake.

The following report has been prepared for submission to the Management Section, Department of the Army, Mobile District, corps of Engineers, in compliance with current performance guidelines.

In response to a request from Ignite Wireless, Inc., RESCOM Environmental Corp., has completed a Phase 1a archaeological reconnaissance and records check for a proposed telecommunications tower site in Gordon County, Georgia (Figure 1).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project EDS-545 ( 1), Hart County has been surveyed with respect to

Project STP-0000-00(883) would widen both SR 138 and CR 100, at their intersection, to provide each with a left tum lane. The left tum lanes would be east and westbound at the SR 138/CR 100 intersection.

This is the proposed within-median widening of Interstate 75 from I-675 northward to S.R. 7/U.S. 41. The total length of the project is 7.8 miles.

The proposed project would consist of the leveling and resurfacing of SR 138 east of the city of Stockbridge. The project would begin just east of Love Street and would end at the Rockdale County line. Also included in this project would be the paving of the existing 0.
