Project CSMSL-0008-00(690) proposes the construction of the Jimmy Deloach Connector, a new roadway alignment that would begin at Bourne Avenue/SR 307 and terminate at the existing Jimmy Deloach Parkway and State Route 21 (SR 21) intersection in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia.

The designated areas were inspected Saturday, March 9 , 1977. Initially, the areas immediately adjacent to the Ohoopee River (northeast of the existing oxidation pond) were checked. This area is now a boat launching and picnic area .
