Southern Research, Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc., has completed a cultural resources survey of the Farmer's Bottom Dispersed Recreation Area, located in Compartment 205 of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Stephens County, Georgia.

An archaeological survey of the Wallace Dam tailrace area was conducted for the Georgia Power Company in late 1976-early 1977. Two sites, Pm 215 and Pm 247, were located and evaluated by the survey archaeologist, W. Dean Wood (1977).
