This project would widen and extend Belair Road from S.R. 104/Washington Road in Columbia County to S.R. 10/Gordon Highway in Richmond County. The project would be approximately seven mile long on a proposed right-of-way of 84 to 200 feet. A survey consistent with this corridor was performed.

A section of the proposed alignment has been shifted to the west. Beginning approximately 330 feet west of the proposed roundabout at McFarland Lane and SR 372/Birmingham Highway, the proposed alignment would shift to the west a maximum of 229 feet, measured centerline to centerline.
