Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of two tracts (totaling approximately 680 acres) for the proposed West Point Interchange in Troup County, Georgia, between 5 and 16 June 2006.

This project consisted of the emergency repair of a portion of Lake Howard Road where it crosses over the Lafayette City Reservoir at Mile Post 0.8 that was damaged by the September 2009 flood (Figure 1). Specifically.

The proposed project is located in the Buckhead community of Atlanta, in Fulton County. The project is located along SR 237/Piedmont Road between the Intersection of Habersham Road and the adjacent signalized intersection at the Piedmont Center office park driveway.
