The purpose of the project is to replace a structurally deficient bridge on SR 32 over Bear Creek in Coffee County, Georgia (see Figure 1). Existing SR 32 at Bear Creek is a two-lane, rural road, with 12-foot wide travel lanes and paved shoulders that vary from 2 to 4 feet wide.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the insufficient existing bridge along State Route (SR) 93/SR 111 at Little Tired Creek, located approximately one mile north of the city of Cairo in Grady County, Georgia (Figure 1 and 2).
