Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed replacement of the State Road 105 bridge at the Middle Fork of the Broad River in Banks County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2).

The proposed project consists of widening the existing Cumberland Boulevard bridge over Interstate 285 in Cobb County (Figure 1).

A Phase I archaeological study of the proposed improvements to SR 257 was conducted November 30, 2000. Approximately three miles of SR 257 between Interstate 16 and the City of Dublin are to be widened.

Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed replacement of the State Road 51 bridge at Grove Creek in Banks County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2).

From 5 February through 7 February 2001, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted intensive archaeological resources survey of the proposed Ogeechee Wetland Mitigation Sites in Jefferson County, Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace two bridges on State Route 323 in the eastern Hall County (Figure 1). The two bridges are 165 m apart and cross the main channel of the North Oconee River and an overflow channel of the river.

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an archaeological survey for the proposed South Hall Parkway corridor in Hall County, Georgia on May 15, 2000 (GDOT Project STP-0001-00[97]).

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of two alternates for improvements to the Panola Road and Rock Springs Road intersection in DeKalb County, Georgia. The survey did not locate any archaeological sites along either of the alternates.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of Millerfield Road between Bristol and Shurling Drives, Bibb County, Georgia on January 18, 2001. The survey of the approximately one mile corridor was confined to a 100 foot wide corridor.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is in the process of widening U.S. Highway 441 to a four lane-divided highway, and as part of the process conducted cultural resource surveys in Dodge, Laurens and Wheeler Counties in 1995.
