A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Spence Mill Creek on SR 93 in Mitchell County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates February 28, and March 1, 2001. A 1,000 foot approach with a 200 foot wide right-of-way was studied on either side of the bridge.

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Lost Creek on SR 93 in Mitchell County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates February 28, and March 1, 2001. A 1,000 foot approach with a 200 foot wide right-of-way was studied on either side of the bridge.

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of the Little River on SR 135 in Echols County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates June 19, 21, and 22, 2001. A 1,300 foot approach with a 400 foot wide right-of-way was studied on each side of the bridge.

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Suwanoochee Creek on SR 94 in Echols County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates June 20, 2001.

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Toms Creek on SR 94 in Echols County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates June 20, 2001.

TRC conducted Phase II archaeological testing of site 9LE74 to evaluate its eligibility status for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The site is located along Muckalee Creek in the southeastern portion of Lee County, Georgia.

In May, 2001 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of proposed improvements to the intersection of Dawson Forest Road and Lumpkin Campground Road in southern Dawson County.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace the bridge on State Route 57 over the Little Ohoopee River in eastern Johnson County, immediately east of the town of Kite (Figure 1).
