Report Abstracts

This project is the realignment of SR 98/SR 334 in the vicinity of the Norfolks Southern (NS) railroad crossing and the installation of train-activated warning devices. The proposed construction will consist of reconstructing 0.22 mile of SR 98/SR 334.

The proposed project would consist of approximately one mile of a new 10-foot sidewalk along the south side of Roswell Road (SR 120) in Cobb County (see attached Figure 1). The project limits would be from Merchants Walk Drive to Shady Hill Drive.

In July of 2005, Southern Research conducted a cultural resources survey within an approximately 550 acre tract of land in Washington County, Georgia (Figure 1). The tract is the location of proposed tailings impoundment for the Huber Corporation's kaolin mines.

On October 2, 2006, RSWA conducted an archeological survey of the southwest corner of the proposed development site located at 10510 Crabapple Road in the City of Roswell, Fulton County, Georgia. The project was conducted on behalf of Richland Development, LLC.

Archaeological Reassessment of Project STP-4921(l), Lowndes County, HPD# HP020604 done by Ann Lotti. Project STP-4921(1) would widen and reconstruct North Forrest Street in Valdosta, Georgia. This project was first surveyed by Teresa Paglione in May 1986 (HPD# HP020604).

Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Proposed SR 145 Bridge Replacement Over the North Fork of the Broad River, Franklin County, Georgia.

Archaeological Assessment of Projects RWSTP-0008-00(365) & SPROO-0005-00(976), Grady and Thomas Counties. Projects RWSTP-0008-00(365) & SPROO-0005-00(976) would consist of stream restoration at three bridges in Grady and Thomas Counties.

Archaeological Reevaluation of Project BR-0001-00(369), Clay County. The proposed project would replace the existing bridge on County Road 76 over Drag Nasty Creek. The existing 110x22 foot concrete bridge would be replaced with a 120x28 foot bridge.

Archeological Survey of Project BR-0004-00(729), Muscogee County.

Archeological Survey of Project BRZLB-239(3), Quitman County. The proposed project would replace two narrow and structurally deficient bridges, both built in 1958, on CR 84/Union Church Road over Pataula Creek Overflow and Pataula Creek located approximately 2.5 miles north of Morris, Georgia.
