Report Abstracts

During August and September of Bland & Associates Inc. (BAI) conducted an intensive cultural resource assessment survey of the 150-acre Marsh Landing parcel, in Camden County, Georgia.

In November 2006, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Hiram Park and Ride project area in Paulding County, Georgia.

The project proposal calls for the improvement of Lee Road where it intersects with Interstate 20 (Figure 1). Lee Road will be widened, and a new loop from Vulcan Drive to Sweetwater Industrial Boulevard will be constructed.

The proposed project would construct sidewalks along three streets within the City of Chamblee, Georgia adjacent to the Chamblee MARTA Station. The three streets included in this project are Miller Drive, Malone Drive, and Watkins Avenue.

The project is located on SR 203 at the crossing of Dry Creek in Wayne County, Georgia. The proposed project would replace the existing two-lane bridge with a slightly longer concrete bridge structure that is approximately 40-foot wide.

The proposed project would consist of improvements to State Route (SR) 5/Maxham Road beginning at Old Alabama Road and ending at Veterans Memorial Highway southeast of the City of Austell. The existing typical section along SR 5/Maxham Road consists of two, 12-ft travel lanes in each direction.

The project is located on CR 467/Bickley Highway at the crossing of Cane Creek in Ware County, Georgia. The proposed project would replace the existing two-lane bridge with a slightly longer concrete bridge structure that is approximately 40-foot wide.

Project BRST-563(9) would replace the deficient bridge over Reedy Creek on SR 33 in Thomas County, Georgia. This project was originally surveyed by Luke Erickson in June 2003 and March 2005 (HP030611-001).

Original Project Description: The proposed project would encompass such streetscape improvements as sidewalks and crossing demarcation, landscaped medians, pedestrian-scale lighting, street trees, benches, trash receptacles and bicycle racks.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the SR 85 bridge over the CSX Railroad in Meriwether County, Georgia (see project location map).
