Cultural property GP-SN-03 (designated (T) 9 Sn C.P. * 11 in Garrow 1984) is located in Screven County, Georgia within the Vidalia Uplands of the Coastal Plain Physiographic Province. It lies within the Savannah River drainage system, approximately 105 kilometers (km) from the Atlantic Ocean.

The impact area for the proposed widening and paving of state road S-2524(2) was surveyed and no cultural debris indicating a site was found. Much of the area under consideration was in low-lying swamp unsuitable for human habitation.

The original proposed project would replace the SR 56 bridge over the Ogeechee River, plus the two overflow bridges south of the river. All three will be widened from 25.8 feet to 40 feet.

The proposed project would construct four passing lanes on SR 24 in Burke and Jefferson Counties.

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct US 25 from the Waynesboro Bypass in Burke County, to SR 88 in Richmond County. This project was originally surveyed in 1994.

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct US 25/SR 121 from just north of the Burke/Jenkins County Line to the Waynesboro Bypass.

GDOT project EDS-565(9) in Burke and Richmond counties would consist of the widening and reconstruction of US 25 from an existing two lane road into a four lane road between just south of Marchman Road north to Hepzibah. The project was originally surveyed in 1994.

Site 9 DOT 13 represents a low density ceramic/lithic scatter dating to the Woodland Period. The site is located on the first terrace of Spring Creek, 160 feet northeast of State Route 78, 1.8 miles southeast of State Route 17, Burke County, Georgia.
