Presented in this report are the results of a study concerning a general survey of portions of the Douglas County 201 study area. Field work was performed in the period of January 23, 1980 to February 10, 1980 by Cultural Resource Services, Inc. under contract to HensleySchmidt, Inc..

The Department of Veterans Services has proposed the construction of a new Veterans Memorial Cemetery just north of Glennville along US 301 in Tattnall County, Georgia. The cemetery would be located in an area that was used primarily as agricultural land throughout the twentieth century.

Panamerican Consultants, Inc., performed a Phase I cultural resources survey of 3,419-7 hectares (ha) (8,450 acres [ac.]) at Thurmond Lake, Georgia and South Carolina.

In April 1999, TRC Garrow Associates, Inc. (TRC), conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of a 225-acre tract in Tattnall County, Georgia. The tract contains the proposed site of a wastewater treatment facility and construction wetlands.

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of the proposed Beaver Dam 46/12 kV Substation site and transmission line corridor, Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The field work was conducted by the author and one field technician on March 14, 1991.

During June of 1986, Robert S. Webb conducted a cultural resource survey of 11.66 kilometers (7.0 miles) of the proposed Oglethorpe Power Corporation's Oak Hill 115/12 kV transmission line corridor and 4.8 hectare (12 acres) substation site.

On July 26, 1983, Robert S. Webb and Robert J. Hunter, of Claude Terry & Associates, Inc. (CTA) conducted a 100 percent coverage cultural resource survey of Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed Riddleville substation site in Washington County, Georgia.

In January 2002, SITE, Inc. conducted a Phase I survey of the proposed replacement of the State Route 45 bridge over Kinchafoonee Creek in Sumter/Webster County, Georgia. The project corridor is approximately 1.36 km (0.8 mi) long and 30 meters (100 ft) wide.
