This document has been prepared for use in completion of applicable Section 106 procedures in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966 and subsequent amendments.

The proposed work will take place along a 12.94 mile section of State Route (SR) 54 in Fayette County from the Coweta county line to McDonough Road (Figure 1).

The project involves the replacement of the bridge carrying Springs Road (SR 109) over Gala Creek under GDOT's Low Impact Bridge Program (UBP) in Pike County (Attachment 1). The existing bridge is structurally deficient end will be replaced.

This project spans a 9.1-mile stretch from the State Route (SR) 32/SR 99 convergence to Interstate (I-)95 in Glynn County; which includes the span from the SR 32/SR 99 convergence with I-95.
