Southeastern Wildlife Services, Inc. entered into Contract No. PEPR-6961(1) with the State of Georgia, Department of Transportation on August 2, 1978 (Supplemental Agreement:  September 15, 1968) to conduct an archaeological survey of the proposed Harry S.

The project as proposed would replace on new alignment the existing bridge on CR.85/Tom Jones Road at Tom's Creek northwest of Kingston (see attachment 1). The new bridge culvert would be located 25 feet west of the existing bridge location.

This document has been prepared for use in completion of applicable Section 106 procedures in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966 and subsequent amendments.

Archaeology was conducted by Forest Service archaeologist Jack Wynn. He cleared the project concerning archaeology for Section 106 purposes in late 1994. Jack found no cultural resources on or eligible for the NRHP.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site. The subject site is a proposed telecommunications facility located at 5995 Waters Avenue in Chatham County, Georgia.

The proposed project concept consists of the construction of a new multimodal roadway and interchange that would extend existing 17th Street from West Peachtree Street/SR 9 in Midtown Atlanta West, over the interstate, to connect with the Atlantic Station Development.

We have reviewed the information you provided us and conducted a Georgia Archaeological Site File search for the proposed Vada cellular tower location in Decatur County, Georgia northeast of Bainbridge, Georgia.

Between July 29 and August 9, 2019, Brockington and Associates, Inc. (Brockington) completed a Phase I cultural resources survey and an assessment of effects (AOE) of the Georgia Southern University South Campus Tract located in Statesboro, Georgia, within Bulloch County.
