Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) of Athens, Georgia contracted with Fort Benning, Georgia Environmental Management Division (EMD) to conduct a cultural resources survey of approximately 1783 ha (4406 ac) on Fort Benning.

In January 1997 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of a 5.5 km long corridor for the proposed Westside Parkway in northern Fulton County.

Data recovery was conducted on the Little Tarver site (9JO198) and on a portion of the Tarver site (9JO6), to the north of the city of Macon in southwestern Jones County, Georgia.

In June 1997 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of a 9.2 km (5.8 mi) long corridor for the proposed widening of Jones Bridge Road in northern Fulton County, Georgia.

This details the initial results of a reconnaissance level cultural resources survey of the proposed Athens Heritage Trail and Oconee River Greenway. The survey included a background and literature review, the examination of old maps and aerial photographs, and two person-days of fieldwork.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of a 91.7 ha (240 ac) tract in northwestern Oconee County, Georgia.

A reconnaissance-level archeological and architectural survey of the proposed phase 11 portion of the Albany riverfront development was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in early May, 1997.

The Hartwell Marina wishes to renew its lease with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, for a ca. 20 ha (50 ac) tract on Lake Hartwell.

Original Project Description for Rays Road: The proposed project limits are from Memorial Drive to Multi-Use Path (approximately 200 feet south of E. Ponce De Leon Avenue) (1.36 miles).

On June 5 and 6, 1996 Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey of two, ca 100 ac tracts of land in southern Charlton County. One tract may be used as a landfill and the other as a borrow pit.
