On February 19, 1996 Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey of approximately 2.8 acres of a proposed county road right-of-way and an additional one acre tract for a borrow pit in Pierce County, Georgia.

On March 11, 1996 two archeologists conducted a survey of a three acre tract on the L.C. Pope property, about ten miles southeast of Dublin, Georgia (Figure 1). This will be the site of a borrow pit for road fill. No archeological sites were found.

The city of Butler wishes to construct a waste water spray irrigation system on a 120 acre tract of land just north of the city limits.

Second Addendum: Since the CE was approved, there have been additional changes in the amount of required right-of-way and easement. There would be an overall reduction of 3.67 sf of required ROW at Intersection 3 (731.44 sf).

The Freeman Cemetery is a small, family burial ground located in the sparsely developed southeast portion of the town of Arcade (Figure 1), in south central Jackson County. The Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) is considering moving the cemetery to facilitate the widening of U.S.

This report summarizes the results of the archeological and historical study of a portion of a Civil War battlefield and trench system located in western Cobb County, Georgia, about 7 mi west of Marietta. The battle occurred on June 15-17, 1864, along a line nearly 8 mi (10.2 km) long.
