The Georgia Department of Transportation and Greene County are proposing to widen, and partially realign Linger Longer Road and Reubens Ridge Road, both of which will provide access to a new Ritz-Carlton Lodge on Lake Oconee. A 500 ft (152 m) wide corridor, 6.7 km (4.2 mi) long, was surveyed.

The original survey of five bridge replacements was conducted by New South Associates on July 8, 1996. The survey covered a 1,000 foot approach on either side of each bridge and a total 120 feet of right-of-way at the bridges.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the proposed South Hall Industrial Parkway for the Department of Public Works of Hall County.

During October of 1996 and May 1999, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted intensive archaeological testing at the Sapp property in Pulaski County, Georgia.

During August and October of 1996 and May 1999, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted intensive archaeological testing at site 9PU51, Tenant House # 2, on the Bembry Farm Complex in Pulaski County, Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is proposing to widen U.S. Highway 129 (also known as State Route 15) from north of Athens in Clarke County northwestward to the south side of Arcade in Jackson County, a distance of 16.7 km (10.4 mi).

Golder Associates Inc. completed a Phase I (intensive level) archaeological survey of the proposed Reservoir Option 2, Site #10B in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

On September 29 through October 27, 1998, R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA) conducted a cultural resources survey and evaluative testing of two sites (90C255 and 9BW52) in the proposed Georgia Club Golf Course located in Barrow and Oconee Counties, Georgia.
