Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted archaeological resources survey and site evaluation of proposed corridor widening and new location segments of US 27/SR 1 in Troup and Heard Counties, Georgia in August 1999.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Whitlock Avenue widening in Cobb County, Georgia. The survey of approximately 4000 feet (1220 meters) corridor consisted of the widening of an existing alignment.

On February 2, 2000, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of a 36 by 43 meter tract of land in downtown Macon, Georgia for the proposed Transportation Control Center.

TRC Garrow Associates was contracted by Lee County Planning and Development to survey 19 segments of existing and new right-of-way in various portions of Lee County. There are two new roads proposed for construction, extending a total distance of 7.3 miles.

On June 9, 1999 an archeological survey was conducted at the existing Windward Parkway/SR 400 interchange in northern Fulton County.

Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey and site testing of the proposed widening and new construction associated with improvements to Old Alabama Road, in Bartow County, Georgia.

Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc., contracted with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GaDOT) to conduct an archaeological survey of a 2 mile-long (3.2 kilometer-long) corridor along Cusseta/Old Cusseta Road/CR 62 located in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.

On February 4, 2000, Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed replacement of the S.R. 155 bridge over the Towaliga River, in northeastern Spalding County, Georgia.

On February 16, 2000, Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed replacement of the S.R. 155 bridge over Cabin Creek, in northeastern Spalding County, Georgia.

In late September 1999, Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey for a bridge replacement project on Ashford Dunwoody Road over Nancy Creek, in northwestern DeKalb County.
