New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of one proposed bridge improvement within Fulton County on December 2, 1998. The existing bridge is 60 feet by 24 feet and the proposed improvements would extend the bridge to 90 feet by 40 feet.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has proposed a project to widen US 80/SR 26 from just west of Bull River to just east of Lazaretto Creek in Chatham County, Georgia.

In late May 1999, Southeastern Archeological Services (SAS) conducted an intensive archeological survey of the proposed widening and new construction associated with improvements to Sardis Church Road, in southern Bibb County.

An archeological survey of the selected route of the last segment of the Harry S. Truman Parkway was conducted to ensure that Chatham County is in compliance with federal regulations concerning the disposition of significant archeological sites.

Test excavations at three closely juxtaposed sites (9Tp9O7, 9Tp9O8, and 9Tp9O9) within the proposed South LaGrange Loop were designed to determine if the associated stone piles are prehistoric and/or historic.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of a proposed bridge replacement and realignment of McIntosh Trail (CR 91) in Coweta County on March 10, 1999.

In June 1998, TRC Garrow Associates, Inc., performed archaeological testing of 11 sites in southeastern Georgia to evaluate their eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

This report covers a cultural resources survey of 94 acres completed in Greene County, Georgia on the Oconee National Forest in Compartment 188, Stand 6. The field survey was conducted by Jill Harrell during January and May 1999.

In August 1998, R.S. Webb & Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed Bear Creek sewer line corridor along a 6.8-kilometer (4.2 mile) section of Little Bear Creek in Douglas County, Georgia.
