Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc., working through the firm of Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., was retained by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GaDOT) to conduct an archeological survey of 2.7 km (1.7 miles) along U.S. Route 441 in Cedar Grove, Laurens County, Georgia.

GTC proposes to construct the Pinetucky 46/25 kV Substation northwest of Swainsboro, Georgia in Emanuel County (Figure 1). An archaeological survey was conducted in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended through 1992 (16 U.S.C. 470).

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an archaeological survey for the proposed 5th Avenue widening project in Columbus, Georgia, on August 24, 1999 for Moore Bass Consulting, Inc., under a contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an archaeological survey for the proposed Buena Vista Road widening project in Columbus, Georgia in November 1999 for ICF Kaiser Engineers Inc.

On March 28th and 29th , 2000, New South Associates conducted a survey of three bridge replacements in Lowndes County, Georgia. The proposed replacements span the Withlacoochee River and Cat Creek, north of Valdosta, Georgia.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed bridge replacement and realignment at Big Haynes Creek On Centerville-Rosebud Road in Gwmnett County, Georgia.

This study represents a pedestrian archaeological survey of the Red Cloud Alpha Range including Natural Resource Management Unit B 11.3 and a portion of Natural Resource Management Unit B11.5 in Liberty County. A total of 372.31 ba were surveyed for this project.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the proposed widening and realignment of Log Cabin Drive in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. The survey of the approximately 1.57 mile corridor was conducted on March 24, 1999.

A Phase I archaeological survey of an approximately 2.5 mile long bypass around Social Circle and a 3,800 foot connector road was conducted August 31 and September 1, 1999. The bypass has 200 feet of proposed right-of-way, while the connector road has only 100 feet.

During March and April 2000, an intensive archaeological survey and historical assessment was performed of 1,925 acres in Glynn County, Georgia, by Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI). The property is the proposed location for Jim Fowler's "Life in the Wild" facility.
