The proposed project would construct on new location a connector between 1-75 in Bartow County and S.R.371 in Forsyth County. The proposed project consists of two alternate routes.

The proposed project consists of the replacement of the existing structurally deficient east and_ westbound bridges on SR 20/US 411 over the W & A Railroad and SR 293. Additionally, the project will include the widening of the bridges by 4.66 m (15.3 ft).

The proposed project consists of the improvement of the intersection of SR 3/US 41 and Mockingbird Drive/Center Road. The project begins approximately .48 km (.3 mi) south of the intersection and ends approximately 1.61 km (1 mi) north of the intersection.

The proposed project consists of resurfacing on SR 20.in Floyd and Bartow Counties. The project begins at mile post 20.79 in Floyd County and continues easterly to an end point at mile post 12.12 in Bartow County for a total of 29.58 kilometers (18.39 miles).

The proposed projects would widen and reconstruct S.R. 140 between U.S. 41 and 1-75 in north Adairsville. The combined projects would begin at the intersection of U.S. 41 and would proceed easterly to a point approximately 1800 feet east of 1-75.

The proposed projects would construct on new location a connector which would parallel the northeast side of 1-75 between Grassdale Road and U.S. 411 north of Cartersville.

Enclosed please find information provided for your use in applying for and obtaining a permit for land use change involving a cemetery/Indian mound. The information provided should be sufficient to prepare an application and obtain a permit for this project.

On March 3, 2008, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted an archaeological survey of the proposed Leake Mounds Trail in Bartow County.

The project involves widening of S.R. 140. In three sections, one around Pine Log, one around Gum Springs, and one around Folsom, the project will be on new alignment with 80' to 100' of new right-of-way.

Enclosed is a copy of the survey report for a bridge replacement over Pettit Creek. The survey was conducted as a part of the 404 Permit procedures. A single site was located.
